I. Surrealist Writing Game

a. At regular intervals of 1 hour for the next 10-12 waking hours, draw/write down the first idea or thought that comes to mind. You may also write the ideas down in rapid succession for a short period of time (30 seconds or less) without stopping.

b. At the end of the session, use these ideas to create an artistic composition in the medium of your choice.

II. Cycle of Thoughts

a. Pick a random word/phrase to start.

b. Each player takes turns, the first thing that comes to mind, saying what the previous word/phrase reminds them of.

c. Continue until exhausted.

III. Secret Words

We hide four words from each other. We take turns picking a number between 1-4, each number representing one of the words. The chosen word for that number will be said. We will each say what the other person’s word means to us. We do this until each of us has one word left. That word will remain a secret.
